MOM - WIFE - PHOTOGRAPHER

Hi! My name is Rowena, but my friends call me "Ro" and I'm based in the beautiful state of California. At first, snapping shots with my iPhone was a breeze and super convenient. But my love for photography took a more serious turn in 2018 when I decided to give a real camera a shot. You see, my kids were growing up, getting into sports, like football and rugby, and I wanted to capture all those precious moments.

It was actually my daughter's football team that sparked a new chapter. They needed a photographer, so my hubby surprised me with a legit camera. Let's be real, iPhones aren't the best for getting those zoomed-in shots from the sidelines or bleachers.

I really wanted to freeze-frame those action-packed memories for my family, and I also dreamt of nailing those epic sports shots, just like the photographers I looked up to when I was younger. So, I went all in – practicing, studying, and constantly seeking advice to level up my skills.

And guess what? All that hard work has paid off. These days, I'm a sports photographer rocking it in the San Francisco Bay Area. Whether it's capturing heart-pounding action or creating killer athlete portraits, I'm all about making those moments unforgettable.
